Jonathan Altfeld
Evening event (A "Taste of Wizardry") on Wednesday May 14th.
In the "Taste of Wizardry" Event, Jonathan covered two primary areas of
skills. First, he taught some advanced distinctions with Modal Operators.
He presented us with a diagram he calls "the chasm of modal operators,"
and then taught us Two specific powerful language patterns for motivating
individuals and groups. Then he showed us a covert way to convince entire
groups to support your opinions. Brilliant stuff -- he always amazes.

Release your Creative Spirit
Caroline Flexman & Alice Mallorie . Wednesday 30th April 2003–
Alice and Caroline believe that everyone is a creative
being. However, for some people even the word relativity brings up
concerns, fears and self-doubt.
Creativity is often linked with the visual and
performing arts but in fact being creative is within us all and we can
apply creativity to any area of life from rearing children to running a
company, to maintaining our health. When we apply creativity to our lives
as a whole, we open up to a whole new world of possibilities in which we
can achieve our dreams and aspirations. We want to help people restore
confidence in themselves as creative individuals, which often involves
looking at issues or problems from another angle or saying we could do
something differently - then freeing up our mind and body to go for it.’
NLP has modelled many enjoyable strategies for
creativity and Alice and Caroline are adding and evolving their own. In
this evening’s workshop we will be exploring Robert Dilts’ NLP model of
Walt Disney’s Creative Planning Strategy.

ERIC ROBBIE
‘Knowing without Knowing’
Eric Robbie returned to give us some of his new research in NLP.
Eric was giving a highly successful series of courses
in London, and this was our opportunity to learn from one of the Greats of
the NLP World. Eric was with Richard Bandler and John Grindler from the
beginning, helping develop our knowledge of NLP, with such as Eye
Accessing Cues.

Wednesday 26th February 2003. Caroline Flexman
The ‘Hero's Journey’ & the ‘Archetypes of Transformation’.
NLP trainer, Caroline Flexman, presented an insight
into some of the new NLP models and processes she has created for her
Alchemy & Artistry NLP workshop series, in which she has combined NLP
modelling with metaphor, symbolism, Joseph Campbell’s ‘Hero’s Journey’ and
Carol Pearson’s ‘Archetypes of Transformation’.
During the evening we had the opportunity to explore
some ways Caroline uses these models and processes to:
· Create an authentic and meaningful direction for our
life;
· Connect with what’s important in our life and what motivates us;
· Find inspiration and resources in our heroes, heroines and role models;
· Discover our unique gifts and develop our inner resources;
· Find the hidden lessons and gifts in difficult experiences; and
transform emotional blocks and move forward in our life.

GET WITH THE PROGRAM. Gina
Pickersgill Thursday 30th January 2003. -
 After the Xmas and New Year festivities, Gina coached
us in Life Style Behaviour Change, using NLP and Coaching techniques,
helping us to navigate with questions (was it the Meta Model) to make
changes. For those that braved the very cold and slippery conditions, we
were also awarded Gina's carrot and orange drinks.

Paul McKenna on the Ruby Wax Show.
Members were invited back for Paul's appearance on the Ruby Wax show
Monday 9th December 2002 in the MTV Studios in Camden, North London.
Also we were invited to the final show in the series, being recording
on the 12th December, a Special Christmas Show.
Tickets for the recording of these shows in the afternoon of the 9th
and 12th, were obtained from the Practice Group.

SPECIAL DATE 5th December 2002.
Jonathan Altfeld
Jonathan took time out for this special evening in London, and presented -
Simple, Fast, Easy, Conversational Hypnotic Inductions.
A great turnout of Group Members heard Jonathan use his
Linguistic Wizardry, and he showed us how to become more aware and
multiprocess whilst working. Members and guests took more away than just
being with him and others at this evening. We look forward to inviting him
back again.

Debbie
Williams, 27 November 2002. –
Debbie Williams is known in the NLP community for her
skills in facilitating change, especially combining NLP and hypnosis in
her unique way. Debbie runs the successful Birmingham NLP Practice Group.
To many she is also known as a Belly Dancer, and she certainly had us
dancing in the aisles. She taught us two versions of the three circles
exercise, and some hypnotic trance work.
Also at this meeting, Tina Taylor gave us an insight
into her special work. See her in the Daily Mirror on 28th November. You

Most Honored Hypnotist, Gil Boyne. 30th October 2002.
Gil Boyne, will
be presenting a unique twelve day course, a series of three, four day
Master classes, in Clinical Analytical Hypnosis, starting 30th November
2002 in London. We met this unique man, an author, presenter, teacher,
stage hypnotist and therapist, whose knowledge and stories captivated all
of us. How did he do that quick induction with Ron, just with the word,

McFarland and Tom Vizzini.–
We had as a very special guests from the USA, Tom Vizzini and Kim
McFarland. They are some of the world's finest personal development
trainers. Through both their unique and humorous style they made learning
a fun filled adventure. What they have uniquely developed and teach was
absolutely amazing.
The skills Tom and Kim taught was so awesomely effective, so QUICK, so
amazing, it sent a shiver up our spines when we realised what you can do
for yourself and others. This stuff was in short, only be described as
MAGICAL.
A fantastic team, that will be invited back on their next trip to the
UK.

May 29th 2002 - Clare Cole–
Clare Cole is an experienced trainer, and on this
evening demonstrated Brain Gym.
Her talk and demonstration on Brain Gym was of especial interest to
those interested in the relationship between movement and whole-brain
learning. She showed in a series of simple and enjoyable movements how to
enhance whole-brain learning, to enable people to access parts of the
brain previously inaccessible to them, and are often immediate and
profound. Her email has been hot with requests for more information.

Wednesday April 24th 2002 - James Stokes–
James Stokes is a management consultant, coach and trainer and has
trained extensively in NLP with Dr Richard Bandler. During this practice
group we explored the principles and skills NLP and how to them when
coaching our clients or yourselves. James used his experiences of coaching
corporate directors on personal and profession issues to give practical
applications of coaching for outstanding results.
John Brown also at this meeting, showed some rapid hypnotic inductions.

The March months guest speaker was Babu
Shar, with the title Modelling a successful Wealth Identity.
The evening was designed to explore our current identity of wealth, and
then to learn the identity's of some of the wealthiest people in the
world, and then to use a Reality Bridge to allow us to move towards a new
identity.

Thursday NOVEMBER 8th 2001 - ERIC ROBBIE–
Eric Robbie, the first Master NLP Trainer in Europe, the person who
discovered Eye Accessing Cues, the man who travelled the world with
Richard Bandler for four years teaching NLP, has agreed to present a very
special evening on the 8th November.
Since 1982, Eric has been a leader in the World of NLP, along with
Richard, he continues to extend the knowledge of world.
For those that missed this is a great opportunity to meet and work with
Eric, he will be back again.
Eric answered many questions about NLP, how it came about and his close
relationship with Richard Bandler, working on many of techniques from the
beginning.

NLP". Harry gave us the latest insight into Richard Bandler’s latest work
Neuro-Hypnotic Repatterning. He gave us a taste of Richard’s work, with

Bandler, brought to the London Practice Group, some of the latest work he
and Richard have developed.

Wednesday July 25th 2001 - ZANA– Zana will be known to many of you,
especially from the McKenna Breen Business Practitioner, and she brings
her unique style and knowledge to you.
Zana worked with stories – the evening was spent listening to and
creating new stories, which have the potential to transform. All
organisations have wonderful stories, which they are trying to tell.
Working with stories allows the power of these stories to actualise. How
some stories are outdated and need refreshing, some just need to be told
and more importantly the story need jolly a good listening to.
Use NLP techniques to liberate the power of myth and story telling in
the work context.
